Dave and Angie Andrews have beenn Community Development practitioners Who lived worked and raised their children in Delhi for 12 years working With a Community Development Organisation called Sahara and Sharan. We have continued to practise community development principles in West End, creating options for those pushed to the margins of our society.
These are refugees, mentally and psychologically wounded people, destitute and homeless. We seek to walk alongside and encourage these people. We encourage students,lay people ,practitioners, local residents and people from all professions and walks of life to join a movement of compassion. We want to be responsive to the needs of those people left out, forgotten, abused, and unwell and to join our worlds so that together We can make the changes in ourselves to meet this challenge to seek to Love in ways we have not dared to before.
Our aim is to encourage all people everywhere to take their small moves to make the changes needed to make those who would would Otherwise leave behind us and help them to come to the place they need to while getting their ourselves.
Last First is trying to encourage us to be informed of the issues we would face while undertaking community development practices. Be it in our homes,organizations,institutions of which we are all a part. We want teachers, trainers, and community workers to recognize the power we have to educate each other on our collective resonponsibilites and as individuals to work for social change.

West End NetWORK is a branch of what we are seeking to do - practise community development in our lives, with a our family and community. We are wanting the employment initiatives we continuously seek to develop to be known to others and encourage others to support these not for profit initiatives. We would love others to feel inspired and believe they too, can create meaningful initiatives together.
We want Universities, Colleges, schools, community groups, City Councils, Government and Non-Governements to know of these social ventures and seek support for these.

Black Star Coffee
Blackstar is providing employment for young refugees new arrived in Australia to gain training and employment as Baristas and eventually owning their own coffee cart in key areas around Brisbane if this is the direction they wish to go take it.
This is a fairly traded coffee venture – coffee beans,and freshly ground high quality coffee .People can buy in bulk for their workplaces and create a regard for good quality freshly roasted coffee fairly traded coffee.. This can bring people together , gathering to share in ways you wouldn’t expect. Conversation becomes meaningful, and sharing about your everday experiences and supporting each other in the workplace.

One World Jewellery and Handcrafts
This is a passion of mine and would love others to encourage individuals and groups - to gather and enjoy making their own necklaces,and bracelets and earings.
One world jewellery is an interesting collection of beads, jewellery, cuffs findings, boxes and hancrafts that I find to sell. Many are my own designs which are very influenced by the tribal jewellery, using, glass, pottery, metals, silver, gold, brass, copper, corals, blues, and green turquoise, onyx, agates, carneians, yellow, lime green, mid greensjades, red , mid blue mountain jade. These are from Africa, China and India.
